These sessions are best suited to babies between 5 – 14 days, where they are at the most sleepy and curled up. Due to high demand and limited slots in my diary, the best time to book in is just after your mid term scan or as close to that as possible.
I have a very gentle and relaxed style to make sure both you and your baby are comfortable and relaxed throughout your photoshoot. Family and sibling photographs are included with every newborn photoshoot.
I perfect every detail and carefully style and pose baby to accentuate their natural beauty.
Each session gives us a collection of around 40 images that are all fully hand edited, professionally enhanced photographs intended to be cherished for years to come.
You will be invited to return to the studio one to two weeks following your session to review your final gallery, which will feature your gallery viewed on my big screen. At that time, you may select the Collection most suited to your preferences with lots of options from wall art, to prints, albums or digital only image collections.
All you need to book in is a £99 non refundable retainer which will be taken off anything you choose to buy once you have seen your images.

Babies grow so fast and change a lot in the first few months. Having professional newborn pictures taken are to remind you one day when you look back how tiny they were, how they curled into you like they never wanted to let go.
These shoots capture that but it is not just about the baby. It’s about documenting your new little family. About the connection. About change and love.
And when you flick through those albums or glance up at that wall with your child years from now? That’s when it will hit: this is priceless and the best investment you could ever make.
From the moment you step in, I aim to make you feel at ease and get comfortable in the studio. New mums need support, not just in front of the camera but through the whole experience. I’m here to guide, reassure, and make sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. I provide everything you need, just bring me your baby and lots of milk.
Newborn photoshoots typically last between 3 to 4 hours to give us plenty of time for feeding breaks, nappy changes and making sure your baby is as safe and unrushed as possible. Every baby is different and some will sleep through and be finished faster and others may take a little longer. This is totally normal and is why I only ever book one newborn session a day.
I focus on creating a peaceful and soothing environment so that you can also relax during this time while I take care of baby and create beautiful photographs for you.
I deep clean and handpick every prop, fabric and texture before you arrive so that everything is set up ready to start. Colours will be guided by you during our telephone conversation a few weeks beforehand, from dusty toned sophisticated colours to all neutral or all white I have lots of props, soft blankets and textures to suit your taste. Whether you prefer posed newborn photography, more natural, lots of props, no props or all wrapped shots for a faster session, I have you covered.
Your images will be ready to come back in and view in a lovely cinema style viewing around two weeks after your photoshoot.
I source exclusively from small artisan businesses, choosing only the finest hand-knit rompers, bonnets, sleepy hats, and delicate headbands, each one made with love. Even the tiniest teddies that snuggle into your images have been hand-felted by a local maker, their sweet personalities ready to be matched with your baby’s unique spirit.
Each newborn photography experience is uniquely tailored to your family and your dream experience. I spend a lot of our time together comforting and soothing your little one, to ensure they’re relaxed and ready for each pose. Your baby is in good hands (literally!).

There really is no “one-size-fits-all" Newborn Photography photoshoot. Every session is designed to suit your unique style, preferences, and vision. whether it’s an intimate, calm newborn shoot or something more creative and fun.
Your photoshoot itself is free and all part of our service, so you just pay for what you want to buy at the end of the experience.
To secure your session, I take a non-refundable retainer of £99 on booking, which is deducted from your final order.

If you would prefer to purchase just a few individual images or prints instead of a full Collection, that is absolutely fine.
Please note that a minimum spend of £399 applies, due to the time required for editing, ordering, printing, and preparing the files.
These poses are carefully timed and choreographed to show the baby posed on soft fabrics in various traditional posed photography positions. Traditionally with either just a nappy or naked, but I also have outfits if you prefer. I use fabrics and textures to elevate the images and always protect the baby’s modesty! I have trained specifically in posing babies into positions that are beautiful, sophisticated and safe.
I have a lovely selection of baskets, buckets, tiny beds and other vessels to style baby in. I am always inspired by my clients’ stories, so sets can include flowers or other props symbolic to the family story.
I typically take two different family photo’s to start with. One is more natural on a bright white backlit background and the other is more posed on my traditional fine art background. I then take one each of baby and Mum and baby and Dad, (depending on your family story) in both styles.
These early days don’t wait, and neither should you. I only take on a small number of newborn photography sessions each month to make sure every family gets the relaxed, unrushed experience they deserve. Booking in advance means we can pencil in your due date and be ready to go whenever baby decides to make their big entrance.
