These sessions are best suited to babies between 6-9 months, where they have nearly mastered sitting.
Naturally all babies develop differently, this is just a guideline of the best time to book in for and can always be moved nearer the time if baby isn’t there yet! Due to high demand and limited slots in my diary, the best time to book in is around 5 months old or as close to that as possible.
I have a very gentle and relaxed style to make sure both you and your baby are comfortable and relaxed throughout your photoshoot.
We will spend some time on the phone together before hand, where you will tell me all about your little one’s personality and what colours and tones you like. If you need help styling I will also provide you with a personalised shop of all my favourite outfits for your baby, bespoke to each client and based on your colour choices.
Each session gives us a collection of around 40 images that are all fully hand edited, professionally enhanced photographs intended to be cherished for years to come.
You will be invited to return to the studio one to two weeks following your session to review your final gallery, which will feature your gallery viewed on my big screen. At that time, you may select the Collection most suited to your preferences with lots of options from wall art, to prints, albums or digital only image collections.
All you need to book in is a £99 non refundable retainer which will be taken off anything you choose to buy once you have seen your images.

Exploring with wide-eyed wonder and bursting with giggles and smiles, the Sitter portrait experience is designed to honour this precious window of time where every little expression gives a glimpse into who they are becoming!
You might worry, will my baby cooperate, or is it too soon to invest in professional portraits, but this experience together is relaxed and tailored to your little one’s rhythm.
Using the softest of fabrics and hand-knit outfits from small local businesses, rustic wooden specialist props for your baby to sit in, and all styled artistically to allow your baby to shine naturally.
And when you see those portraits framed on your wall, those chubby little cheeks and sparkling eyes, you will know you made the right choice.

The sitter milestone stage is one you won’t want to skip and is best between 6 and 9 months where they are learning to sit steadily. Here is where we start to really see and celebrate your baby’s personality coming out, with those toothy giggles and cackles and that perfect phase where baby meets soon-to-be toddler!
I have a wonderful selection of hand-knit and sewn outfits for boys and girls by local small businesses, plus handmade headbands and sweet embellishments that you are welcome to use for your time with me in the studio.
The sitter portrait experience is photographed in my signature fine art style, your little one will look dreamy and ready to frame, sitting on soft fabrics and inside sweet baskets adorned with flowers or leaves. You can even jump in and have a family photograph too, if you would like, just let me know in your pre-consultation call!
I have a beautiful bespoke collection of soft textures, neutral tones, and charming accessories from small businesses and leading baby photography vendors, that highlight your baby’s natural beauty without overwhelming them.
These portraits go beyond cute, they capture the essence of who your baby is becoming, preserving their spirit in a way that words never could. I often use props from their newborn sessions to highlight just how much they have grown in those few months!

To secure your session, I take a non-refundable retainer of £99 on booking, which is deducted from your final order.
