Capturing Moments, Creating Memories

I'm Filiz, a professional studio portrait photographer and proud boy Mama of one.  I love photographing people (and dogs when I can), I'm a big foodie and I love music, dance and all the arts!  I am deeply passionate about quality artwork, not 'just a photo', and capturing emotions that reflect the personality of each client that comes in.  

My studio environment is very relaxed, cosy and clean, and my style of photography is artistic and timeless.  My Newborn style is specialist posed, birthday shoots are vibrant, stylish and (most importantly fun), maternity and family are clean, classy and simple, with the focus on you.  In addition to Newborns, I also specialise in Fine Art photography, which is a huge passion of mine!  

Where it all started!

I fell in love with photography at the age of 14, when I discovered the beauty of black and white analogue photography and started studying early for my photography GCSE. There was something so magical about the sounds and smells of the darkroom, watching my images appear under the chemicals bathed in a red glow from the darkroom light, it captivated me and I was hooked! I went on to win a first in the Under 18s Dacorum Kodak prize, at the age of 14, placing first in the black and white portraiture category, and many consecutive awards along the way. 

Fast forward (quite a lot!) of years later, into the digital world, I am still very much obsessed with capturing emotions, thoughts and provoking feeling through my images.  

Photography will always be my passion and I am often told that it shows in my work!
